Sunday School, confirmation, adult education and Women's Circles are all parts of the educational offerings at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Christian education, an ongoing relationship with God's Word, is a representation of our daily call to discipleship.
Discipleship
We believe it is important to study God's Word and to discover how the Bible relates to daily life. By staying immersed in the Word we believe we stay immersed in conversation with God.
Conversation with God should take the form of daily prayer and meditation. Praying for the Holy Spirit to inspire us, praying for others whom we know or those in need in our world are good ways to begin.
As a part of discipleship, we believe it is important to consider how we are supporting the mission and ministry of your church. You can use this tithing calculator to see where you are currently, and to help you plan ways to increase your support in the coming months and years. Tithing doesn't happen all at once for most people, but through a deliberate effort and an awareness of how we are doing along the way, most people find it very rewarding to tithe inside of a short period of time. Think about an increase of a percent or two each year until you reach the tithe.
